Ski and Sea Properties is just not limited to vacation rentals.
We specialize in unique and niche Motels and Inns. We have
a combined 52 years of experience in the hotel industry, with
emphases on operations and specializing in revenue management.
We have a proven track record in running successful hotels.
We have experience in small and large renovations, re-branding,
re-opening and operating all sized hotels. We consult on all aspects of hotel management; we specialize in the Entitlement process and development of new hotels.
The Company is a partnership of two individuals with the
same drive, dedication and desire to succeed personally and
professionally.
Chris Ferrante- Owner and Director of Operations
Chris started her career in 1988 with Red Lion Hotels in
San Jose, CA. While in San Jose she held positions in banquets,
catering and convention services. With Red Lion she transferred
to two other hotels, one in Southern California and the other
in the Central Valley. At both properties she held positions
in sales and operations. Chris also experienced, on an operation
level, a five diamond, five star resort; The American Club
in Kohler Wisconsin where she learned the finer aspects of
service. Most recently Chris worked for a small management
company, Northwest Hospitality Group where she was the GM
of the Coast Santa Cruz Hotel, and later moved to Southern
California to renovate, re-brand, open and operate a 500 room
Sheraton Hotel. Chris has a degree in Business Management
and has recently moved back to Santa Cruz.
Scott Pinheiro - Owner and CFO
Over the past 30 years Scott has worked and now is the President
of a successful travel agency in Santa Cruz, California. The
travel agency was founded by his mother nearly 45 years ago
and has remained in business even when most of the competitors
folded. Scott graduated from the University of Reno, NV with
a degree in Business Management. Scott's many years in the
travel and tourism industry, along with his connections and
roots in Santa Cruz, provide a solid foundation for our company.
As you can see, the partnership is a perfect fit with both
individuals being more than qualified to manage your asset,
physically and financially.
